James Law is a photographer currently living in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Southern California and raised on martial arts, side jobs and skateboarding with time spent in the rocky mountains in a small town of about 3,000 in the Aspen Valley of Colorado. James’ photography career began in 2006 and was motivated by Ryan Nixon, friend and photojournalist Samuel Hodgeson, and creative Felix Winqvist, creator of Corniche Timepieces from Sweden. Following a love of martial arts and shooting periodically with the UFC, James later became the photo director and chief photographer for UFC Magazine. James has been freelance since 2013. With Frequent close collaboration with artist Daniel Arsham for the past 8 years
